Penfield Bicentennial Charity Euchre Tournament


This year the town of Penfield is celebrating its 200th anniversary and we are looking to get 200 players to help us celebrate. Proceeds will go to the Shepherd Home Comfort Care and projects associated with Penfield Rotary. CP Rochester's Run for Fun 2010


CP Rochester, in partnership with Wilson Farms, is hosting a certified 5K RUN & WALK May 15th with refreshments, Silent Auction and family fun games after the race. Ridin' For A Reason


June 5th 2010.  The Conesus Lake Riders Motorcycle Club is sponsoring Ridin' For A Reason to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times. Signups will be from 10 till noon at the Rush Creekside Inn and at Arkport Cycles. The cost is $20 per bike with all proceeds going to Camp Good Days. This will be a parade style run of about 80 miles through the wine country of the fingerlakes ending at the Skybrook Campground in Dansville NY. 6x6x2010: You Asked For It! Last year more than 6,000 Visitors attended an exciting art exhibition of more than 3,000 artworks by nearly 1,200 artists from 17 countries, 36 states (and 4 species)! More than 1,400 artworks sold. It was a huge success! We asked every visitor to 6x6x2009 if we should have another 6x6 exhibition. Resoundingly, you answered YES! SUBMISSIONS DUE: May 2, 2010 at 5pm. Artworks may be mailed or delivered directly to RoCo, 137 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14604. Wed. - Sun. 1-5 pm, January 24 - May 2. Each submission must be accompanied by the submission form, available on the RoCo website. Artworks must be signed only on the back (to be exhibited and sold anonymously) and accompanied by the submission form. Please read: Frequently Asked Questions on the website ABOUT 6x6x2010 6x6x2010 is the third exhibition of thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international and local artists, designers, college students, youths and YOU. Fairport Music and Food Festival


The 6th annual Fairport Music and Food Festival is being held Saturday, August 28th, in the village of Fairport, on Liftbridge Lane, along the historic Erie Canal, from noon until dark. This is a day-long, family oriented celebration of music and food, with all proceeds benefiting the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. A number of local and regional bands will perform, and there are crafts,entertainment, and fun activities for the kids. Festival vendors will be offering signature dishes and refreshments.
