I play adult league hockey Thursday nights at the Sports Centre at MCC (Formerly the ESL Centre) for the News 8 Ocho Locos. We had been on a losing streak, so my bro, Pat Duffy over at our sister station 98PXY, made a call and got former Buffalo Sabre and Rochester Americans' Captain Rory Fitzpatrick to play for us.
We won 5-2 (not surprisingly)!!!
It was really a lot of fun playing with a pro... and also hunbling because damn he he LIGHTYEARS better than everyone out there!!! A big shout to Rory Fitzpatrick for being a great sport and scoring most of our goals. He was just named the GM for the MCC Sports Centre, and we know he'll do a great job.
