This is Ariana (pic below). She is now 10 years old, but when she was 7 she was involved in a sledding accident at Highland Park back in March of 2008. She hit a tree going 35 mph and crushed her skull. A nurse was near by and put pressure on her head to stop a brain bleed that would have killed little Ariana.
Ariana made a full recovery, but no one knows who saved her life. All she wants for Christmas is to thank the woman who saved her life and give her a hug.
If anyone knows who this person is, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
The police never got her name. She had brown hair and is a nurse... that's literally all we have.
This is a picture of her shortly after the accident...

my child had similar accident
Hi my name is Patty and my son Ronnie had a simmiler accident in 1993 when he was 5 a stranger that we didnt know called 911 for us Ronnie is 23 yrs old now and has 27 metal plates in his head because he fractured every bone in his face except his nose. He was at ellison park it was even in the paper. My advice to parent is if your child wants to go sledding and there are trees nearby please wear a helmet. Thank you love your show and listen EVERYDAY When Im at work keep up the good work
Maybe it was an angel that God sent to help her. Dmhm
Yor are such a tropper ariana. I pray for you to get your christmas wish.Love you my little girl!
the first instinct i had when i heard this story is that the person that helped little Ariana was an angel. In some ways i hope that i'm wrong so that the family can thank this wonderful person.
What a great story
I grewe up near Highland Park on May Street, and I've sledded many of the hills. They all have names: Death Valley, Three Sisters and Eagle. Many nurses live near it as well. Good luck
