"The Macedon Police Department reports the arrest of Ryan J. Grantham, 22, of Gates, and TC Serrell Smith, 36, of Rochester, following a larceny and pursuit. It is alleged that the pair stole an I-pad and clothing items from the Macedon Wal-Mart, then tried to flee police briefly before crashing the vehicle in which they were driving in a residential neighborhood of Perinton. The pair fled on foot with a third vehicle occupant. All three were taken into custody shortly after the crash, by assisting Monroe and Wayne County Sheriff deputies. The third subject was later determined not to have been involved in any offense, and was released. Smith were charged with Petit Larceny and Grantham was charged with Petit Larceny and Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle. Both were arraigned in Macedon Town Court, and committed to the Wayne County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond, until their reappearance on 04/17/12 at 11am."
