Here's a class picture of me in 1991. I got all the chicks, obviously. Great year for Buzz music. Lots of albums that changed the course of music forever. This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Nirvana's "Nevermind". 1991 also saw releases like "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" by Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Use Your Illusions I and II" by Guns N' Roses, "Ten" by Pearl Jam and Metallica's Black Album. Make sure you're listening to The Buzz as we showcase these albums with tribute blocks all weekend. And while we're thinking about it, take my Facebook page poll, and let me know what YOU think the best album of 1991 was.
Let's burn Hollywood
My hatred for Hollywood is well documented. There are very few movies or TV shows that capture my attention. First, I see a trailer for what looks to be a Hugh Jackman movie based on Rock ' Em Sock 'Em Robots, then I read the story that Hollywood is planning to remake 30 (!!!) 80's movies. Original ideas seem to be a thing of the past in Hollywood. Or at least, discovering those original ideas has become more challenging with all the noise those boxing robots and Will Smith's kids are making. G+
Hey, Google Plus is now open to EVERYONE! Aren't you excited? *crickets* What the hell happened? In July, when I first got my Google Plus invite and started playing around, there was a big part of me that thought this could dent Facebook (which would be a good thing). Now, it's a ghost town. Regardless, if you're moseying around, get me in your circles by clicking here.
The Upper Echelon of Condiments
At lunch yesterday, they brought out that hot sauce with the rooster on the bottle. If I knew how to pronounce it, I would call it its proper name. This stuff is the standard by which all other condiments should be held. That includes you, A1. I can't really think of anything that wouldn't be better with a dash of this. Sex? I would take a shot. And of course, as I 'm having this thought a noodle covered in it lands on my shirt. My shirt. That's something that isn't better with this sauce on it.
